The Story of (e) - Part II

Dear Human,

After our first talk, sadly some of my electron "friends" spread the news that I have tried communicating with your kind. Somehow, the fundamental particle supreme court on Earth decided that I was guilty; for leaking top secret information to un-trusted entities - like yourself.

I tried to explain to them the fact that I was bored andwanted to try something new, but the word "bored" was so astonishing to them. In fact, it even made them more angry. Some of my fellow electrons were sympathetic with my case, but most of the quarks were just so closed minded to understand the concept.

Quarks are the fundamental building blocks of what you call neutrons and protons. They are conservative particles, they only exist in groups. They are so mysterious, they talk little, move less and they never ever separate from their native groups. That's to say, they are the most boring particles in the Universe. If you still can't get what I'm saying, think ofgrumpy old people of your kind who think they are the wisest of all – that's exactly what quarks are for us electrons!

The court has sent out signals some light years away to the nearest known anti-particle community, they want to get some anti-electrons (also called positrons) to annihilate me. Yet, this shockingly cruel punishment seems only a way of telling me: Get the Hell out away from Earth, we don't want you here. Because – come on – by the time these silly anti-electrons receive the signal and come all the way to earth, I can be long gone from here and they can't stop me.

My fellow friends that don't think I deserve capital punishment for this crime can't stand up for the ideas. Electrons are cowards –most at least. I know I'm not, I'm too old to be afraid of anything.

It's been months now since I ever rotated one complete cycle around a nucleus of any kind. Quarks consider this as disrespectful to them, I think it's my freedom to choose where to go or how to move around the world.

All this is making me too angry, I don't even want to run away. All my close electron friends seem to dislike my stubbornness and are even afraid to talk to me in public. I'm starting to become more bored and more frustrated; so you can expect more messages from me for the times to come. Infact I enjoy talking to your kind, I'm sorry for talking to you like dumb good-for-nothing morons in my previous message, I was just showing off – sorry.

You know, sometimes I feel jealous because you are so short-lived, and yet you have a somewhat fair degree of intelligence, maybenothing compared to electrons, but at least more than the stupid old quarks!

Anyways, expect more leaks from the micro-world (or should Icall it the femto-world? I never understood your lust for creating so manynotions); so that when these old quarks execute me, I might as well have deserved it.

P.S. I've posted you a simple diagram of an atom, just to show you how ugly quarks look and how silly their clusters seem ...
